The 1st professional Football Club in Armenia “LORI” Kirovakan (founded in January, 1988) was restored in February 2023 under the new name –
“LORI-VANADZOR FC” NGO.
In 2023-24, with the financial support of Governor of the Lori region, Vanadzor Municipality, Council of Elders and individual benefactors. In the season, the club participated in the FFA Championship with 4 youth teams.
On May 25, 2024 the new FC received from the FFA the 1st league license approved by UEFA, but due to lack of sufficient financial resources, for 2024-25. will participate in the season with 5 teams only in the youth Championship of FF of Armenia.
